Mindfulness and its relationship with academic (practical) achievement among female students of the College and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul

The current research aims to identify the level of mindfulness among female students of the College and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, as well as to identify the relationship between mindfulness and the level of academic (practical) achievement. Additionally, it aims to reveal the differences in mindfulness among female students of the College and Departments according to their academic stages. The research sample included 331 female students from the College and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, and the researchers relied on the scale prepared by (Abdullah, 2013), which consists of 36 items. The results were as follows:
1- Female students of the College and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul possess high levels of mindfulness.According to the mindfulness scale.
2- There is a statistically significant relationship between mindfulness and academic (practical) achievement among female students of the College and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul.
3- There are statistically significant differences between the mean responses of female students of the College and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul according to the mindfulness scale based on the variable (academic stage) in favor of those in the fourth stage.
