The study aimed to identify the level of health-related physical fitness, which includes (cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, body composition), and to identify statistically significant differences in levels of health-related physical fitness. The researchers used the descriptive survey method due to its suitability for the nature of the study. The study population consisted of high school students (ages 15-18) in the city of Jeddah, with a sample size of 81 students randomly selected. The reliability sample size was 26 students outside the original research sample.Beep test (to measure cardiorespiratory fitness), arm flexion and extension test from the prone position, standing long jump test to measure muscular strength, arm extension from the sitting position test to measure flexibility, and body mass index test as a study tool. And one of the most important results reached by the study: The level of health-related physical fitness was at the (poor) level for about (56%) of the study sample, while the level of health-related physical fitness was at the (average) level for about (34%) of the study sample. There were no statistically significant differences in health-related fitness levels. And represented by (cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, body composition) among the study sample according to the age variable (15-18). In light of the study results, the researchers recommended the necessity of increasing attention to health-related fitness levels in schools for the age group under study, and presenting the current study results to the relevant authorities in the Ministry of Education, and providing specialized scientific programs that work on improving health-related fitness levels amongSchool students, and activating the role of physical education classes in schools; to achieve their goal regarding health-related fitness components, conducting more scientific studies on all age groups of students and both genders.
