The relationship between psychological integration and the accuracy of shooting from jumping with a basketball for second-year students

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the psychological integration among students, and to know the relationship between psychological integration and the accuracy of shooting from jumping basketball for second-stage students. The researcher used the descriptive approach using the correlational relations method to suit the research problem. The research community was selected from second-stage students, numbering (30) students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences/Al-Mustansiriya University. The researcher imposed the existence of a statistically significant relationship between psychological integration and accuracy of shooting from jumping basketball. She concluded that the sample members enjoy a good degree and a high level of integration and psychological stability during skill performance, and that psychological integration was reflected in a positive and effective way on the performance of the skill of shooting from jumping basketball among the sample members. The researcher recommended emphasizing the interest in psychological aspects and raising their level of performance for various sports activities and skills.
