Abstract

The current research aims to identify the impact of the five-step Bayesian model (Es5) on learning some basic football skills, in addition to comparing the two research groups (control and experimental) in the post-tests for learning some basic football skills. The researchers hypothesized the existence of statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test results for the two research groups (control and experimental) in learning some basic football skills, favoring the post-test for both groups. Additionally, there are statistically significant differences between the post-test results for the two research groups (control and experimental) in learning some basic football skills, favoring the experimental group. The researchers used the experimental method due to its suitability for the nature of the research problem and its experiment. The research community was selected intentionally.Since this course is one of the first semester courses taught to first-year students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the College of Basic Education/University of Mosul for the academic year (2020/2021), with a total of (100) male and female students distributed across two classrooms, classroom (1) served as the control group and included (30) male students, while classroom (2) served as the experimental group and included (30) male students.  The researchers used the statistical package (SPSS) and applied the relevant statistical methods: arithmetic mean, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient (Pearson), skewness, t-test for the significance of differences between means for related samples, t-test for the significance of differences between means for independent samples, and multiple correlation coefficient. The researchers concluded the following: Both the adopted method and the Bayesian model proved to have a positive effect on learning some basic football skills among the research sample. The researchers recommended: - Utilizing the five-step Bayesian model in the educational unit, as this model is effective in making the student an active participant in the educational process.
