The importance of the research lies in establishing correct scientific foundations to achieve development through the use of intensive training in developing some physical abilities and the time of the 400-meter freestyle event for the youth category. Upon reviewing championships of the same event, it is evident that many young female athletes reach high levels using intensive training, and the body continues to perform to achieve the best results. This prompted the researchers to investigate and explore the implementation of intensive training to be an important training process accessible to coaches and young female athletes specialized in the 400-meter freestyle event, serving as a reference for the training process in Iraq. Hence, the research problem arose. The research aims to prepare intensive training to develop some physical abilities for the 400-meter freestyle event for young female athletes and to identify the impact of intensive training on the research variables for the 400-meter freestyle event for young female athletes. The researchers used the experimental method with the design of the experimental and control groups, and the research sample was determined by the intentional method, which included the districts (Al-Zafaraniya, Al-Kahraba, and Al-Fadila) in the Baghdad Governorate. The training program was applied for a duration of 8 weeks, with 3 training units using the interval training method (high intensity) with the use of statistical tools. After obtaining the raw results, they were processed, and the researchers concluded that the training according to the intensive small training circuits had a significant effect on developing some physical abilities in the 400-meter running event. The researchers recommend the necessity of emphasizing the implementation of intensive training during the planning of small training circuits in the preparation of coaches' curricula when training age groups, specifically for young female athletes.
