The research included four chapters. The first chapter contained an introduction and the importance of the research, where the researcher discussed the modern era and the rapid technological and scientific advancements through the use of various sciences and knowledge, adopting modern methods, and extending this development to the sports field, which included the goalkeeper position. The focus was on the importance of reaction speed. The research problem stemmed from the researchers' field experience, as one was a former goalkeeper and the current coach for goalkeepers. The issue of goals being conceded by goalkeepers due to poor reaction speed required finding appropriate solutions through the preparation of specific exercises using auxiliary methods to develop reaction speed. The fields of research included the human field represented by football goalkeepers, while the spatial and temporal field was the youth goalkeepers of Al-Qiwa Club on the Ministry of Youth Stadium for the sports season (2021-2020). The researcher used the experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design, suitable for the nature of the problem the researchers aimed to address. The researchers also used the SPSS statistical package to process the results and obtain the research findings. The researchers concluded the necessity of emphasizing the use of specific exercises with auxiliary tools due to their significant impact on developing the motor response speed of the arms and legs of youth football goalkeepers.
