The current study aimed to identify the effect of water exercises accompanied by music on the development of some elements of health-related fitness among students at An-Najah National University. To achieve this, the study was conducted on a purposive sample of 20 students, who were divided into two equal groups (control and experimental). The experimental group underwent a water exercise program accompanied by music, while the control group underwent a water exercise program without music. The researchers used the experimental method by conducting pre- and post-measurements of health-related fitness elements (endurance).Cooper test (12 minutes), inclined plank (30 seconds), flexibility, agility, abdominal muscle strength (30 seconds). The statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. The study results showed statistically significant differences in the effect of water exercises accompanied by music on the development of all fitness elements between the pre-test and post-test measurements, favoring the post-test for the experimental group members. Additionally, the results showed statistically significant differences in the effect of water exercises without music on the development of all fitness elements except agility (shuttle run test) between the two measurements. The pre-test and post-test results favored the post-test for the control group members. The results also showed no statistically significant differences in the post-test regarding the effect of water exercises on the development of some fitness elements between the members of the experimental and control groups. The researchers recommended several suggestions, the most important being the necessity of using water exercises accompanied by music to develop fitness elements during training or swimming education.
